Hey Wolves! 🐺

With FFA contests starting up, we’ve been getting questions about official dress! This includes the jacket and uniform we’ll be wearing for our contests.

We’ll be hosting a fitting night where you can get measured and order your FFA jacket. This opportunity is open to ALL members! Whether you’re new to FFA or need a new jacket, this is your chance to get one ordered.

If you’re unable to attend the fitting night, we’ll send out information about how to order your jacket online.

Last week we got to participate in 4th grade Ag day!  Canyon school District elementary schools get to bring fourth graders to be educated on agricultural topics. West plains FFA students got to run and assist rotation groups. It’s always a good time teaching the youth of America.

District fall meeting was a success! Members got to attend workshops, learn about what’s going on in Amarillo District, and make new connections with other FFA members.

Our president Vivian Risko is a district officer this year and got to help run some of the workshops. We are proud to have her represent the West Plains FFA chapter!

Career Development Event Season is in full swing!!!
Poultry Evaluation Team, traveled to Katy March 3rd leaving at 5am. They are learning and getting better every contest.
March 3rd Freeman Poultry Invitational
Team Placing: 13th
March 4th Houston Stock Show Contest
Team Placing: 51st of 105

March 7th, the Applied Agriculture Engineering Team competed at the Area 1 State Qualifying Contest.
