Region 16 ATPE

We had our Fall Meeting today. We had a legislative update from Heather Sheffield from our Lobby Team. We raised $590 for PAC and had State Treasure Twila Figueroa also present. We raised 140 cans for the High Plains Food Bank.

As we prepare for a special session of the 89th Legislature to begin July 21, ATPE is breaking down the priority bills that will shape the future of Texas classrooms. Be sure to check out our legislative wrap-up series being published all this week on ATPE's TeachtheVote.org.
