As the Splendora community grieves the loss of Rielynn Gonzales, may her family be surrounded by love, lifted up in prayer, and reminded that they do not have to walk through these difficult days alone.

Prayers are with Rielynn’s family, her friends, and everyone who loved her. May they find comfort in one another, strength for the days ahead, and peace in the middle of unimaginable heartache.

⭐️Coach Spotlight: Angie Brittain⭐️

Some coaches make an impact that goes far beyond the court, and Coach Angie Brittain is doing just that at Cranfills Gap!

After retiring from coaching, Brittain returned to her alma mater to invest in the next generation of athletes. Under her leadership, the Lady Lions reached the basketball playoffs last season for the first time in more than 20 years. Her impact extends to cross country, where one of her athletes qualified for state, matching a milestone Brittain herself achieved as a Cranfills Gap student.

From helping athletes reach new heights to bringing renewed excitement to the athletic program, Coach Brittain is making a difference in the same community that helped shape her.

Sometimes coming home means more than returning to where it all started. It means helping the next generation believe in what is possible.!

🙏Bigger Than the Game🙏

More than 60 Levelland students joined Coaches Dixon and Carter at Fields of Faith at Galaxy Stadium for an evening centered on faith, encouragement, and hope. Several students made personal decisions to accept Christ or rededicate their lives to Him.

Opportunities like these reach far beyond the classroom, giving students space to grow in their faith, build connections, and find encouragement in the people around them.

A powerful reminder that some of the most meaningful moments in school communities happen beyond the game!

⛳️Coaches Corner Standout ⛳️

Spearman Lynxettes made their mark at the Canyon Fall Invitational at Palo Duro Creek Golf Course, led by Izzy Slover, who claimed first place overall with a 75 (+1)!

Slover wrapped up an outstanding fall season with four tournament wins in five events, a top 10 finish at the Amarillo Relays, and a 75 scoring average. What a season for the Spearman standout!
