Please join us in welcoming Officer Lance Peikert to the Alvord ISD Police Department!

Officer Peikert brings more than 27 years of law enforcement experience, including an extensive background in school-based policing throughout North Texas. He also has significant expertise in Advanced Law Enforcement Rapid Response Training (ALERRT), making him a tremendous asset to our district.

Most recently, Officer Peikert was honored as 2026 Officer of the Year by his previous agency, a testament to his professionalism, dedication, and commitment to excellence.

Upon our return, Officer Peikert will be assigned to the Alvord Middle School campus where he will serve and support our students, staff, and community.
