Our officers planned and executed a “Lead the Way” workshop for all Ag classes today and it was great. They discussed the myths and stereotypes of what an FFA member is and all the opportunities FFA can offer!
They led with premier leadership!!

Brazoria County Fair Entry Information
The Brazoria County Fair has transitioned from Showorks to the Showman App for all livestock entries this year.
To help make the process easier, I have created a step-by-step video showing how to enter your animals. Please watch the video before completing your entries.
Important Dates:
Online Entries Open: August 3, 2026
Entry Deadline: September 4, 2026 (by the end of the day)
Mandatory Entry Night
Thursday | 4:00–7:00 PM
All exhibitors are required to attend Entry Night. If you need assistance entering your projects, please bring your laptop so we can help you complete your entries in the Showman App on Thursday.
Please don't wait until the last minute to enter your projects. We look forward to helping everyone get their entries submitted correctly!

Day 2 of Officer Camp was one for the books! 🤠💙
Today, our officer team planned a new recruitment activity we’re calling “Lead the Way” for all students enrolled in an AFNR course this year. We can’t wait to share it with everyone!
After a productive morning, we headed to Rodeo Goat for lunch before taking on Beat The Bomb Houston. Our two teams—Barnyard Ballers and Dynamite Divas—battled it out, and the Dynamite Divas came out on top! But in true officer fashion, they still chose to get hit with paint!
So many laughs, great memories, and even better teamwork. I can’t wait to see what these officers accomplish this year. The future of Alvin FFA is in good hands! 💙💛

Today we officially kicked off Officer Camp with a hot breakfast, meaningful conversations, and a lot of planning for the year ahead!
We talked about our goals, defined what it means to be an exceptional FFA officer, had some great debates, and worked together to develop our Program of Activities (POA). These young ladies are already showing leadership, teamwork, and a passion for making a difference.
It was a great first day, and I can’t wait to see all they accomplish this year. Get ready, Alvin FFA… these officers are ready to lead! 💙💛
