The Alvin College Foundation was honored to welcome Joey Saladino, owner of Joe's Bar-B-Que Company and son of the late Joe Saladino, to campus to present the Joe Saladino Memorial Culinary Scholarship to culinary student Zaida Hernandez.

Here is a little walk down memory lane from our fabulous Designer Bag Bingo event in April 2026. So much fun was had by all, and you can tell by their visits to the photobooth!! What a great night... thank you to all who came out to support the students of Alvin College!

Last Thursday’s Employee Picnic was another great reminder of how fortunate we are to work alongside such an amazing group of faculty and staff at Alvin College! ❤️

Everyone enjoyed the always-popular shrimp from Joe’s Bar B Que, and the Alvin College Foundation was proud to treat our employees to a sweet surprise — personalized mini donuts from Small Bites! 🍩✨ Employees got to create their own delicious combinations with fun toppings, making dessert a huge hit.

We are grateful every day for the dedication, hard work, and heart our faculty and staff bring to Alvin College, and we love opportunities like this to show our appreciation.
