Alvin College Theatre closed out our summer with the 2026 Musical Theatre Audition Intensive for high school students and the world premiere of Cowabunga!

💃This was the first year we included choreography in our Musical Theatre Audition Intensive. Participants learned basic dance call skills from our guest artist Lyssa Rumsey.

🐮The cast of Cowabunga met the playwright, Meghan McEnery! We loved getting the opportunity to host Meghan for the world premiere of her work.

This was another wonderful Summer Children's Theatre Festival! It may be a whole year away, but we can't wait for Summer 2027. 👽🛸

Shetty Freddy is a Shetland cow who loves to skateboard, even if his friends think he’s weird. Join Freddy as they are called by a mysterious force to leave their humble Moo-souri home and take a journey to Malibu to learn the art of surfing. This delightful world premiere looks at belonging, individualism, and how to manage big feelings in a healthy way, and will leave the whole family hanging 10 and saying ‘gnarly!
