This past weekend, Alvin College Drama took some of our majors on a field trip to see the world premiere of "that drive thru monterey" by matthew paul olmos at Stages Houston!
Giving our students the opportunity to attend professional theatre in the Houston area, where many of them begin their own careers in the theatre industry, is a key part of our educational mission - especially when we get the chance to do so with new work such as "that drive thru monterey."

The 2025-2026 regular season is officially over! From All My Sons last October to this spring's Little Women, thank you to everyone who came out to see a show this season - especially to those who attend our talkback performances, which are more popular than ever! 2025-2026 was definitely a season to remember, and the reviews from our audience surveys agree.
We've got the 2026 Summer Children's Theatre Festival coming up soon, and after that, the start of the 2026-2027 season. But in the meantime, what was your favorite show from this past year?
