Hello Summer! The last day of school is an early release day!

Elementary schools will release at 12:10 p.m., junior high schools will get out at 12:50 p.m., and high schools will release at 11:30 p.m.

The first window for Kindergarten registration ends this week!

Kindergarten registration is a two-step process. 1) Fill out the online application at www.alvinisd.net/kinder 2) Call your child's campus to schedule an appointment.

Parents can find all the information on what documents are needed for registration, what campus they are zoned to, and who to contact for questions on the website.

Applications will close on April 30th and reopen for the second window on May 18th. During the second window of registration, the in-person appointments will all take place at the Lewis Lane Enrollment Center in Manvel.

After 31 years of service, Pearland ISD Director of Transportation Keith Kaup is retiring. 🚌💚

A lifelong Pearland resident, Kaup’s journey began as a substitute bus driver and grew into a distinguished career leading transportation teams across Texas—and serving as President of the National Association for Pupil Transportation.

From leading thousands of safe student miles each day to helping modernize driver training and licensing, his impact on student transportation has been lasting and deeply meaningful.

The Alvin ISD Board of Trustees has named Dr. Rhonda Mason as the lone finalist to serve as the district’s next superintendent, leading more than 30,000 students across 36 schools.
Mason is currently serving as area superintendent of Lamar CISD. She previously held the roles of assistant superintendent, Executive Director of Elementary and Secondary Schools, Executive Director of Early Childhood and School Improvement, and elementary principal in Fort Bend ISD, campus principal in Spring ISD, and assistant principal in Houston ISD.
