Congratulations to Grant Carbine (Class of 2026) for his Tommy Tune Award finalist nomination for OUTSTANDING HONORABLE MENTION (Acting) as “O’Brien” in STRING.

Each year, Theatre Under The Stars honors the outstanding achievements of high school musical theatre students through the Tommy Tune Awards. In 2025 alone, more than 6,000 students from 72 schools participated. The Tommy Tune Awards recognize excellence both onstage and behind the scenes, inspiring students to pursue their artistic dreams, providing professional-level feedback, and strengthening Houston’s cultural community.

We loved our time at our Texas State Captiol, and then, we enjoyed lunch at Culinary Dropout! SO DELICIOUS!

We are finishing our at Kalahari Water Park in Round Rock, TX! This trip has been SOOOO much fun! We will be back in Alvin tonight!

We have made it safely to Austin, TX! Our first stop is touring our Texas State Capitol!

We have had a BLAST today! The Alamo, delicious Mexican food lunch in Historic Market Square, explored the San Antonio Riverwalk, time at the Rivercenter Mall, INCREDIBLE BBQ at Pinkerton’s BBQ for dinner, and now, pool party and bonding time at the hotel as we close our evening! 🧡🤩🥳

We travel to Austin, TX tomorrow for our final day of our !

Day #2 of our starts at the historic Alamo! 🤩

Our crew have all made it to our hotel! We are all checked in. Making sure all choir parents and families are informed! Today has been SO FUN!! 😊🧡
