We are proud to announce that Joshua Salapantan has stepped into a new role in the Learning Lab as an Academic Support Specialist!

A local graduate of Pearland Dawson High School and an alumnus of Alvin College, Joshua continued his studies at Houston Community College before earning his Bachelor of Science in Mathematics with a minor in Physics from the University of Houston.

Joshua has been an integral part of the Learning Lab for four years as a Math tutor. During his tenure, he has led numerous TSI Prep and Boot Camp sessions, Math Student Success workshops, and Math test reviews. Notably, he was our first Math tutor to support students at the Alvin College West campus and dual enrollment students at our partner high schools.

In his new capacity, Joshua will serve as the Tutor Team Leader and will continue to be a vital resource for our TSI Bridge program.
