Transitions

This week we had so much fun learning about sea animals!

The kids explored a nature sensory bin, practiced counting during snack time, and worked on puzzles, stacking, nesting, tracing, and sorting activities to build their thinking and fine-motor skills.

We also practiced colors with a fun red light/green light activity.

For language and communication, we enjoyed “Old MacDonald,” puppet shows, and “Farmer Round Says.”

We talked about different emotions and practiced recognizing and expressing our feelings through emotion dolls and mirror faces.

For physical development, the kids enjoyed washing animals, rolling like bugs, dancing, and practicing body movements with “Head, Shoulders, Knees & Toes.”

We also got creative with our sea-animal crafts, including starfish, octopuses, and a Jonah and the Whale craft.

Overall, it was a fun week filled with learning, creativity, movement, and exploring!

This week, our class had a wonderful time learning and practicing the letter S!

We worked on recognizing uppercase and lowercase S, as well as tracing and writing the letter. ✏️

The students also participated in a fun Letter S scavenger hunt!

They searched around the classroom to find the letter S, helping strengthen their letter recognition skills in a fun and interactive way. 🔎

Throughout the week, we continued working on number recognition, counting, and beginning addition skills.

The students practiced through hands-on activities and worksheets designed to build their confidence with numbers. 🔢

We also focused on strengthening fine-motor skills and pencil control through tracing, writing, and coloring activities.

It was a busy and exciting week of learning, and I am so proud of all the hard work and progress everyone made! 💕📚

This week, the kids did such a great job learning and practicing the letter I!

I am so proud of how hard they worked, how excited they were to participate, and how much progress they made throughout the week.

They did an amazing job recognizing the letter I, identifying its sound, and practicing how to trace and write it.

It was wonderful to see their confidence grow as they worked through each activity and proudly showed what they had learned.

We also enjoyed spending our mornings outside, getting some fresh air, moving our bodies, and playing together before it got too hot.

The kids had so much fun exploring, laughing with their friends, and enjoying the beautiful sunshine.

These outdoor moments gave everyone a chance to relax, build friendships, and start each day with lots of energy and smiles. ☀️

For our Bible lesson and craft, we learned John 4:16, which reminds us of God’s great love for us.

We talked about how God loves each of us very much and how we can show love and kindness to others.

The kids enjoyed creating their crafts and were excited to share what they made while remembering the important message from our lesson.

Infants

What a fun and exciting week we had in our infant class!

Our little ones enjoyed lots of opportunities to play, explore, learn, and celebrate together.

We especially had a wonderful time celebrating one of our friends’ first birthday! 🎉🎂

We enjoyed making the day extra special with smiles, laughter, and lots of happy moments with our classroom friends.

It was so sweet watching our little ones enjoy the celebration together!

This week, we also had lots of fun playing with bubbles! 🫧

The babies loved watching the bubbles float through the air, reaching out to touch them, and trying to catch them.

Bubble play is not only exciting for our little learners, but it also gives them an opportunity to practice tracking objects with their eyes, reaching, grasping, and developing their coordination.

We also continued working on our self-help and independence skills by practicing eating by ourselves.

Our little ones are learning to explore food, hold their utensils, and practice feeding themselves.

While it can sometimes get a little messy, mealtime is a wonderful opportunity for our babies to build confidence and independence.

We are so proud of all their efforts!

For our craft this week, we created a very special beginning-of-the-school-year keepsake. We used the children’s adorable little footprints and turned them into colorful crayons! 🖍️

This was such a fun and creative way to mark the beginning of a new school year.

Their tiny footprints made the perfect crayons, and this keepsake will be a sweet reminder of just how little they were at the start of the year.

Overall, it was a wonderful week filled with birthday celebrations, bubbles, growing independence, creativity, and lots of fun!

We are so proud of our little learners and all the new things they are discovering each day.

We can’t wait to see what fun and exciting adventures next week will bring! 💕 #

What an exciting week in our toddlers classroom!

This week, we officially moved into our new classroom, and our friends were so excited to have so much more space to explore and play!

We jumped right into our new space and routine with Ms. Yadira and Ms. Abi, and it has been so much fun settling in together. 💛

This week, we focused on getting into the groove of our new routine and becoming comfortable in our new classroom.

We enjoyed our devotion time, played outside, worked on puzzles, and even explored kinetic sand!

It was a busy and fun week filled with lots of exploring, learning, and play.

We are loving our new space and can’t wait for all the fun and learning that’s to come! ✨

We had a wonderful week of learning!

This week, we focused on the letter M through tracing, letter recognition, writing practice, and a fun mouse craft to help us remember the letter and its sound.

We also continued practicing name writing and tracing to strengthen our fine-motor and handwriting skills.

For Bible time, we talked about how we can shine for Jesus at school by being kind, praying often, including others, telling the truth, and always doing our best.
The students created their own “I Shine for Jesus” pencils as a reminder to let their light shine each day!

We are so proud of all the learning and growth happening in our classroom and can’t wait for another great week! 💕✏️

Pre-k 1

This week was a fun and exciting week of learning as we introduced the letter I and the number 1!

Our students had the opportunity to learn about the letter I, practice recognizing it, and begin working on how to write it.

We spent time tracing the letter I on our whiteboards, which gave everyone a chance to practice their fine-motor skills while becoming more familiar with the shape of the letter.

We also talked about different words and objects that begin with the letter I.

Some of the examples we learned about were inchworm, ice cream, and igloo.

The students enjoyed identifying these words and learning what makes them start with the letter I.

We will continue practicing the letter I throughout the coming weeks so that our students can become more confident with recognizing and tracing it.

Along with the letter I, we also introduced the number 1.

The students practiced tracing the number on their whiteboards and worked on recognizing what the number 1 looks like.

We talked about counting one object and understanding that the number 1 represents one thing.

We will continue practicing our numbers through hands-on activities, counting, and tracing.

For our Bible lesson, we learned 2 Corinthians 5:7, which teaches us to walk by faith and not by sight.

We talked about how we can trust God even when we cannot see what is going to happen next.

This was a wonderful opportunity to remind our students that God is always with them and that they can have faith and trust Him.

Overall, we had a wonderful week filled with learning, practicing, exploring, and growing together!

We are so proud of our students for working hard and trying their best. We are excited to continue practicing the letter I and number 1 and see all the progress our little learners will make! 💕📚✏️🔢
