Transitions
This week we had so much fun learning about sea animals!
The kids explored a nature sensory bin, practiced counting during snack time, and worked on puzzles, stacking, nesting, tracing, and sorting activities to build their thinking and fine-motor skills.
We also practiced colors with a fun red light/green light activity.
For language and communication, we enjoyed “Old MacDonald,” puppet shows, and “Farmer Round Says.”
We talked about different emotions and practiced recognizing and expressing our feelings through emotion dolls and mirror faces.
For physical development, the kids enjoyed washing animals, rolling like bugs, dancing, and practicing body movements with “Head, Shoulders, Knees & Toes.”
We also got creative with our sea-animal crafts, including starfish, octopuses, and a Jonah and the Whale craft.
Overall, it was a fun week filled with learning, creativity, movement, and exploring!
