*Warning* Long post * Read it anyway*
At least scroll down to the “here’s what I need from you” section
Good afternoon everyone.
Time for some honest business talk.
The last couple years hit us hard.
We are not giving up though. We are still here.
We offer so many options for families of all demographics.
• Home school.
• On campus schooling.
• K3-12th grade Accelerated Christian Education.
• Adult education.
• A safe place for your student to come do the program of your choosing (Even if that is virtual public schooling) *As long as we have a desk available
*We are only trained to handle ACE programs but will help in any way we can.
We have discount programs and scholarships (If one is available)
Now to the fun part..
I (Mrs. Casanova) need YOUR help!
I have a heart FULL of love and education to share with a school FULL of students. We deal with a lot of low income families and those in very odd situations. These are my favorites!
I love every student the same but being able to help someone who is “drowning”… That’s my heart!
I need you all to know that we are here to help!
Families who can afford to pay full tuition and help with fundraisers.. Those are OUR lifeline. We NEED you! As well as our volunteers.
We do offer payment plans and have many programs to work with your specific situation. So don’t be overwhelmed with my next statements.
I am going to lay out the details for you but know I can help you (within reason)
Our prices are:
$250 Testing and application fee (non-refundable, goes towards tuition cost if you enroll)
$3,000 yearly tuition (1 year worth of books included)
$300 a month August to May is our regularly used payment plan. (We will work with you)
$500 discount if paid upfront in full. ($250 if you pay half upfront)
** Payments can be lowered by starting earlier in the year** Some people choose to use their income tax from the previous year to pay the next year up front. (Just an idea)
Our program is not like the public school. We do not have a teacher in front of a class of 30. Every student has their own cubby and works at their own pace in paper books we call paces. Our class ratio is no more than 10/1.
Our “teachers” are supervisors. They’re here to monitor and answer questions not teach.
This program is easy to work from home or a little of both (great for families who like to take vacations during the school year) You can get done as fast or as slow as you are willing work.
We are not a state accredited school.
If you have spoken with us in the past you may have been told different things regarding our schedule.
Let me clear that up for you. For the 2022/2023 school year we will be open Monday – Friday, 8:00am-4:00pm. (Classes 8:30am – 3:30pm) *Special classes subject to their own schedules.
We do not have yearly state testing. The only “big” test taken is the placement test and that is not a pass or fail test. It simply tells us which books to purchase. This way your student is working at their needed level in every subject individually * no meat grinding here*
We are open for enrollment NOW. If you need somewhere to finish off this school year give me a call/text (817)-716-5401 (cell)
(817)402-5138 (office) *leave a message if needed
Or of course you can always send us a message right here on Facebook.
Here is what I need from you:
1st: I need you to go to our review section here on Facebook and leave us a review. Let others know about your experience with us.
2nd: I need you to like, follow, and share our page. Invite all of your friends to do the same.
3rd: I need donations. With 2 hard years behind us we are in need of some simple repairs. Light bulbs/fixtures, patch work, etc. Nothing serious but needed. (Serious for the school but not big jobs)
Donations can be mailed to Brighter Side Christian Academy at P.O. Box 903, Alvarado, TX 76009 (checks written to Full Gospel Tabernacle with BSCA in the memo)
You can send through paypal, venom, or cashapp (message me for more info)
We would also love to see you in person and accept cash/check donations. This is our favorite option. We love to meet new people.
4th: I need volunteers.
Class monitors and supervisors.
Regular janitorial help.
Handy men/women for updates.
Administration help.
*I cannot do it all myself* That is not fair to the students*
I look forward to the new year and new future of Brighter Side Christian Academy.
Thank you for taking the time to read this post and consider helping in any way you can.
God Bless.
