Northwestern Oklahoma State University is accepting applications for the Brad Henry International Scholars Program, which sends one Northwestern undergraduate to Swansea University in Swansea, Wales, for the spring 2027 semester. The scholarship covers tuition, fees and housing, plus a $1,500 stipend for food, books and travel.
Two forms are required — the Brad Henry International Scholars Application and the Northwestern supplemental questions. Both are due to the Study Abroad Committee by Sept. 10, 2026.
To be eligible, students must be at least 18 years old, an Oklahoma resident, enrolled full time at Northwestern, in good academic standing with a minimum 2.5 GPA, and have completed at least 30 hours of college coursework. Concurrent enrollment and AP credit do not count. Applicants also submit a resume, an official transcript and two letters of recommendation.
Students with a 3.0 GPA or higher may also apply for the Amanda Winge Study Abroad Scholarship, an additional $500 awarded on the basis of a 300-word essay about civic or volunteer work.
