March 7th was our Saturday session. We had a total of 39 students to join us as we tackled the digital escape room of Sherlock Holmes "The Adventure of the Speckled Band." Following that they participated in a round of Speed Friending where the students were encouraged to meet other students that they did not typically interact with. In the afternoon, they participated in a campus scavenger hunt.

TRIO Day 2026 was a success!! Twelve students joined our intrepid staff to learn all about the importance of our voices within TRIO. They explored the state capitol in the morning and visited with our state representatives. State Senator Roland Pederson and Representative Carl Newton and talked with our students about the bills they are working on and why the legislation is of importance. After a two-hour delay waiting for our lunch, the students spent time speaking with college recruiters about different colleges and the opportunities at each.
