We had enough of traditional schooling—and decided to change direction.

That’s what led us to Acton Academy Alva: a different way of learning built around curiosity, independence, real-world experiences, and helping kids take ownership of their journey.

With a lot of gratitude for years we had together and yet with great sadness that we announce that today Kora, our family dog, passed away. We know she brought a lot of of joy to the learners as well. From the moments she would just walk in front of cars without a care in the world to her morning runs full of energy – she was able to bring joy to so many. After a full well and long lived 16 years she is now resting. We are going to miss her.
