What a week it has been! 🙌🏻

Taytum McIntosh has been an active part of the BCM during her time WOSC, and early last fall, Jennifer and Taytum began meeting together in a discipleship relationship. Over the course of that time, baptism was a conversation that came up more than once. Taytum expressed a desire to be baptized, but for one reason or another, the timing just never came together.

This week, that changed.

As Taytum prepares to transfer and begin her next chapter at a new college, she felt strongly that she wanted to make this public declaration of her faith before she left.

Soooo…we loaded up and headed back to Little Niagara! 💦🙌🏻

There is something so special about watching a student take a step of obedience and publicly declare, “I belong to Jesus.”

Taytum, we are SO proud of you! It has been such a privilege to walk alongside you during your time at Western, and we will be cheering you on and praying for you as you step into this next season.

Different campus. Same Jesus. Same mission. ❤️

What an incredible week of worship, laughter, late-night conversations, new friendships, and watching God move in the lives of these students. I’m so thankful for every moment and excited to see how He continues to use this generation for His glory.

🚨 We are interrupting our Collegiate Week coverage to bring you the best news ever! 🚨

Today, we are celebrating with Kaydynce Cara !!! as she surrendered her life to Jesus! ❤️

The Lord has been working on her heart, and today she responded to His call. What an incredible reminder that there is no greater decision a person can make than placing their faith in Christ.

We had already planned our annual trip to Sulphur to visit Little Niagara, but God had an even sweeter plan. Kaydynce decided she wanted to publicly declare her faith through believer’s baptism in those waters.

What a beautiful day of celebrating new life in Christ!🎉

“Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come.” 2 Corinthians 5:17

Week 8 wrapped up an incredible summer of Next Chapter at Falls Creek! ☀️

This week we got to connect with incoming freshmen Kanin McDowell and yo.LaBraia . Kanin is headed to Western to pursue a business degree, and Labraia is working toward becoming a massage therapist. We can’t wait to see how God uses them on campus this fall!

What an incredible summer it has been meeting so many incoming freshmen, hearing their stories, and beginning relationships that we pray will last far beyond this summer. We are so thankful for every student we got to visit with and for the opportunity to encourage them as they take this next step.

Now it’s time for the next chapter! 📚🙌 Next week we’ll be taking several of these students to Collegiate Week, where we’ll continue building relationships, growing in our faith together, and preparing for an exciting semester of campus ministry.

Thank you for praying for these students all summer. Please continue to pray that God would draw each of them closer to Himself, establish them in a local church and BCM, and use them to make an impact for His Kingdom on their campuses.

Week 7 of Next Chapter at Falls Creek was amazing!

We traveled to Falls Creek on Friday to meet incoming freshman Skylah Muniz ! But the best part of her story happened at the beginning of the week—Skylah surrendered her life to Jesus and was baptized in the creek! 🙌

As we talked, she shared how excited she is to get involved with the BCM and grow in her faith this fall on campus. We are so thankful for what God is doing in her life and can’t wait to see how He uses her to impact those around her.

Please join us in praying for Skylah as she begins this new chapter, stands firm in her faith, and shines the light of Christ on campus. Welcome to the BCM family, Skylah! 💚💛

🔥 Week 5 of Next Chapter at Falls Creek was our BIGGEST week yet!! 🔥

We had the chance to meet up with this awesome group of incoming freshmen, and we couldn’t be more excited to welcome them to the BCM family this fall!

is headed to Western to play baseball.� and will be pursuing Pre-PTA degrees. will be serving as a WOSC Ambassador. is pursing her pre-education degree .byrdd and will be completing their certificate programs through SWOTC.

God is bringing together an incredible group of students, and we can’t wait to see how He uses each of them to impact their campuses for His Kingdom. Please be praying for these students as they step into this new season of life. We are so excited to do life with them this fall!

Week 4 of Next Chapter at Falls Creek was another great week! We got to meet up with incoming freshmen Paige McIntosh and Kyleigh bearbow , along with our BCM President himself, Blaine Shelburne ! Paige and Kyleigh will both be coming to Western to play softball, and we are so excited to welcome them to campus this fall. Please be praying for these students as they begin this new chapter and that God would use their time on campus to grow them in their faith and impact His Kingdom! 💚💛

Week 3 at Falls Creek, we had the opportunity to connect with the amazing Kyra Reyes ! Kyra has committed to play softball at Western while pursuing a pre-veterinary degree, and we couldn’t be more excited to welcome her to campus this fall.

We are looking forward to seeing how God moves in her life and how He will use her to impact those around her and grow His Kingdom during her time at Western.

When you see Kyra on campus this fall, be sure to give her a big Pioneer welcome! 💚💛🥎
