Student Physicals to be held July 31

All student-athletes in grades 5 – 12 must have a medical physical before beginning their sport. Physicals must be dated May 1, 2020 or after in order to be compliant with the OSSAA. Student-athletes needing a physical for the 2021/2022 school year may obtain their physical on Saturday, July 31, at Altus High School or they may choose to see their primary care provider.

The clinic at Altus High School will take place from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 31. Physicals will cost $10 per athlete. Physicians from Jackson County Memorial Hospital along with nursing students from Southwest Technology Center and Athletic Training Students will be volunteering their services for the clinic.

Students will enter Altus High School though the clock tower doors in the front of the building; they will exit through back doors by the student parking lot.

Physical forms can be found at the new Altus Athletic website https://altusathletics.org/ under the parent tab at the top or the OSSAA website at http://ossaa.com/MiscForms.

For more information contact the athletic office at 580-481-2647.
