With efforts to increase transparency and highlight organizational changes, CCAF is providing current students, advisors, educational partners, and prior service members with updated information on available resources to access academic records to support Airmen achieve their educational goals. This aligns with Air University’s message to the field, “Air University streamlines CCAF and PME transcript requests”, 3 Dec 2025, highlighting the 10,000 transcript requests Air University processes per month. Some transcript requests may take 30 business days to process to ensure accuracy, with many requests are completed sooner.

Recently, the Air University has consolidated all Registrar functions from CCAF, Air Force Institute of Technology (AFIT), and Professional Military Education programs (ex. Air Command and Staff College) into the AU Registrar at Maxwell AFB in order to
properly centralize command, distribute control effectively, and match authorities and responsibilities across the AU enterprise. The AU Registrar oversees transcript processing, student record maintenance, updates of education levels to military personnel records, and certifies graduation eligibility. Furthermore, AFCOOL, as a Voluntary Education endeavor, now reports directly to Air University and is no longer subordinate to CCAF.
To meet transcript demands, the AU Registrar utilizes Parchment, an electronic transcript delivery service. Parchment is the primary method for sending external transcripts or requesting an AU transcript for CCAF degrees.

For civilian institutions that do not use Parchment, National Student Clearinghouse may also be used. Civilian institutions that do not use digital transcripts, can mail hard copies of transcripts to the following address:
Air University Registrar
ATTN: Undergraduate Services
60 W Shumacher Ave
Maxwell AFB, AL 36112-6337
Efforts are ongoing to remove outdated information and obsolete resources online. Please visit https://www.airuniversity.af.edu/CCAF/ or https://www.airuniversity.af.edu/Registrar/ for the most up-to-date information.
