Altoona Area Public Library For over 90 years, the Altoona Area Public Library has been serving our community.

The Altoona Area Public Library provides library services to the residents of the Altoona Area School District in order to meet their educational, informational, and recreational needs. In addition the library is the District Library Center for libraries in Blair, Bedford and Huntingdon Counties. In that capacity it provides interlibrary loan, reference, public relations and advisory services for the benefit of all residents of the three county area.

This special play time is for children ages 3 and under. Come in clothes that can get messy because we'll have a variety of fun sensory stations to explore! Weather permitting, this program will be held outdoors so please dress accordingly.

Women's Community Art Group

The Women's Community Art Group is an Open Art Studio where women can create art of their choice. There will be a variety of art materials available for use and participants may also bring a project they are currently working on. This is a time for relaxation, creative expression and connection. This program is for women ages 18 and over and will be instructed by Elaine Baney, an art therapist and educator with over 20 years experience instructing art.
