girl grip. 💅🏽

not the lip gloss. not the phone. not the iced matcha with the reusable straw.

the 25-pound dumbbell. the kettlebell. the barbell.

because girl grip isn’t just everything you can carry in one hand. it’s putting back into your body what the world has been taking out of it for decades. it’s choosing something heavy, on purpose, and refusing to put it down.

that’s the grip we’re building at Refinery Strength Collective.

if your version of girl grip includes a barbell, you belong here. 🏋🏽‍♀️

Breaking: local woman opens a business, and now women in Altoona and Pleasant Hill can’t stop showing up for deadlifts and unsolicited bone density facts. 😅

In all seriousness, this is basically what happens every week at Refinery.

You come in for the workout.

You leave understanding why strength training matters more the older you get (hi, bone density, hi, hormones, hi, being able to carry your own groceries at 70).

No transformation photos. No guilt. Just strong women getting stronger, on purpose.

Come see what the “investigation” is about. 💪

One year ago: zero clients, no revenue, and a whole lot of pain, passion, and grit.

Today: thirty women strong, our highest-grossing month yet, and a community that shows up for each other every single time.

This wasn’t built on transformation photos or quick fixes. It was built on serving my community. One deadlift, one hard conversation, one client at a time.

Frailty is not your story. And starting from scratch was worth every bit of it.

Happy Birthday RSC!! 🎉💜🔥

This one’s for the working women who know they need to start lifting and haven’t yet. 👊🏽

Strong Foundations is coming.

This is the program I designed specifically for the woman who feels intimidated by strength training but knows…knows… her body needs it. The woman who has walked past a weight room and kept walking. Who has thought about starting and talked herself out of it. Who is done talking herself out of it.

Eight sessions. Tuesday and Thursday evenings at 5:30pm starting September 10th. Only four spots.

Here’s what Strong Foundations actually looks like:

We start at the beginning. The real beginning. Core breathing and engagement. Because before you load anything, your body needs to know how to brace, stabilize, and breathe under effort. Most women have never been taught this. We start there.

Then we move through the six foundational movement patterns every human body is built to do, and that strength training is built around. By the time you’re done, the weight room will never feel the same.

No experience required. Intimidation expected. Judgment, never.

Registration opens August 20th. Four spots. This time will go fast.

Kidding. Maybe. 😏

In all honesty, being trusted with someone’s strength journey is something I don’t take lightly. Ever. These women show up, do the hard thing, and let me coach them through it. That’s not nothing. That’s everything.

If you want in, we’re still accepting new members at Everstrong. MWF 10:15am at 327 Fitness in Pleasant Hill. Only 2 personal training spots open and 5 spots for virtual coaching.

Comment EVERSTRONG, I’d be honored to earn your trust too. 🤍

365 days from now you’re going to look back on today.

The question is what you’re going to say when you do.

“I’m so glad I started.” Or “I wish I had.”

Those two sentences are separated by one decision. Not the perfect time. Not when things calm down. Not when you feel more ready. Just the decision.

This is Everstrong. We strength train Monday, Wednesday, and Friday at 10:15am at 327 Fitness in Pleasant Hill. We work hard. We push each other. We cheer each other on.

And apparently we also play rollerball. 🏐

We take the training seriously. We don’t take ourselves too seriously. That’s the vibe.

Spots are still available. If your gut said something when you watched this video… listen to it.

Comment EVERSTRONG and I’ll send you everything you need to know. 💪🏽

That matters to me more than I can say.

Some of you found this page because you were looking for something different. A coach who wasn’t selling you a transformation. Content that treated you like an intelligent adult who deserved real information about your body. A community that looked like you and trained like you actually live.

I hope that’s what you found.

This page exists because I believe women deserve better information, better programming, and better community than the fitness industry has historically given them. 500 of you believing that too — showing up, saving posts, sharing them with women in your life — is what keeps me building it.

So thank you. Genuinely.

If you’re new here: welcome. We talk about muscle, longevity, nervous systems, pelvic floors, and why frailty is not your story. Stay a while.

If you’ve been here from the beginning: you know what this is. Thank you for being part of it from the start.

Here’s to what we build next. 💪🏽

I’ve been sitting with how to write this because “we did it” doesn’t quite cover it.

A month ago, some of these women were afraid. Afraid the class would be too hard, or too intimidating, or that they wouldn’t fit in. One of them told me exactly that on camera: “I was afraid, but I’m so glad I overcame that.”

That’s the one that got me.

Because that fear is real. And she came anyway. And now she’s telling other women “you gotta do it.”

That’s not a testimonial. That’s a woman who changed something about how she moves through the world and wants the people she cares about to have the same thing.

What these women have built in one month isn’t just strength. It’s the kind of community where someone calls it “the best support in the world” — and means it.

I started Everstrong because I believed women deserved a place where they could build real strength with real guidance and real people beside them. One month in, I know we built that.

To everyone who showed up, pushed through, encouraged the woman next to them, and came back — thank you. This is yours as much as it’s mine.

Everstrong meets Monday, Wednesday, and Friday at 10:15am at 327 Fitness in Pleasant Hill. If you’ve been watching and wondering, the door is open.

Comment EVERSTRONG and I’ll send you the details. 🏋🏽‍♀️
