What an exciting week we've had! We had a visit from the Altoona fire department to come and teach us about fire safety. Our 4K friends took a tour of the police department and got to meet Donut!

Our fall/pumpkin themes are still going strong in our classrooms. Our Sparkler friends got to paint a pumpkin and do some sensory investigations with pumpkin pulp. The sunshine friends got their hands dirty with some color theory process art!

✝️ Chapel Thursday ✝️

No Bible story this week, but Pastor Tim helped our littles imagine just how big our Lord can be! With the help of some emotion cards, we learned that the Lords massive presence is always watching us during all our moments

✝️ Chapel Thursday✝️

Our Bible story for this weeks chapel is taking us way back to the beginning! Pastor Tim walked our friends through how God created everything in six days and rested on the seventh 🌎
We can't wait to see which story our littles will learn next week

💫 Midweek Minis 💫

We're going crazy for pumpkins over at the baby room! It's a week of engaging our senses with sensory pumpkin activities, as well as edible/scented pumpkin playdough!

We can't forget about those million dollar smiles either! ☺️ Check back next week for more mini moments! 💛

As part of our staff meeting at Little Star this month, the members of our staff underwent training in regards to an active threat. As a reaction to the lockdown that Altoona schools had some time ago, we've taken measures to ensure that the safety of your children is always a top priority to us- no matter the unthinkable situation

With the guidance of the Altoona Police Department, the members of our staff even learned how to work together to take down Mr. Dylan! (He was a great sport about it)

🦊 This week the Sparkler friends are learning all about fall animals! 🐻

We spied them trying out different mediums for art- like using forks for painting and making popsicle stick foxes!
