Today is a day to pause and pay tribute to our veterans. Take a moment to engage with a veteran and express your gratitude. While every day should include a moment of reflection on the service of others, today we honor our veterans with special distinction. Thank you to all our student, faculty and staff at Penn State Altoona for your service to our country. We salute you and thank you for your service!

Today, we pause to reflect on the events of September 11, 2001.
In light of recent events and the conversation that surround them, it is more important than ever that we come together as a community. This day reminds us not of what divides us, but of how we can unite as Americans in the face of tragedy.
Let us take a moment to honor the 2,996 lives lost 24 years ago and reflect on the lasting impact of that day. May we continue to find strength in unity, compassion, and shared purpose.
