🚨 BIG ANNOUNCEMENT!!! 🚨

We are excited to share that "The Lion's Den" was nominated for Best Sports Program in the 2026 National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences (NATAS) Mid-Atlantic Chapter High School Student Production. NATAS chapters around the country sponsor the awards.

The Mid-Atlantic chapter includes schools in Pennsylvania (excluding Erie), New Jersey, and northern Delaware. NATAS is a professional service organization dedicated to the advancement of the arts and sciences of television and related media and the promotion of creative leadership for artistic, educational and technical achievements within the television industry, best known for the coveted Emmy® Award.

"The Lion's Den" was nominated along with three other sports programs within the chapter's footprint. Although we did not win, as they say, "It's an honor to be nominated."

The nominated episode featured girls and boys basketball. This episode was entirely written, produced, directed, and edited by Keegan and Korbyn.

Congratulations to this group of MLTV seniors inducted into Quill & Scroll on April 20: Adilee, Megan, Parker, Aiden, Sydney, Korbyn, and Keegan. Yes, Mr. Baker was able to get up off of the floor after the photo was taken. 🤣

We hit the road to Harrisburg today to attend the 2026 Student Keystone Media Awards. Maleah and Taylor took first place in the public service category for their piece on the AAHS blood drive.

Aiden, Adilee, Ally, and Megan earned a second place award for their highlights from the 2025 Turkey Bowl.

Some of our friends from Altoona Area High School Mountain Echo Newspaper joined us as well. Mountain Echo picked up two Keystone awards as well.

Kudos to these amazing students!
