Friends in Miss Pounder's classroom have spent the 1st month of School, yes, it's been a month already 😳 ... learning new routines, how to share and take turns with peers and working hard on fine motor skills all through play. For example, playdoh scissors are a great way to work on cutting skills!

The beginning of the year is so exciting and Mrs. Claycomb’s class is having a blast back at school! We’ve been working on our letters, exploring the sensory room, and learning to play together!

Mrs. Hoover's friends have been exploring the playground equipment, practicing turn-taking and waiting patiently, and forming friendships. Slime is a big hit in our classroom this year. We also discussed the parts of an apple and how they grow. Thank you for sharing your little ones with me!

Students in Mrs. Harkins' 3 day classes have spent the first few weeks of school learning our classroom/school routines and procedures, as well as learning how to engage and socialize with new friends. There are a lot of amazing friendships blossoming already! Students also spent time playing at recess, dancing and learning at circle time, and watercolor painting.
