Altoona 8th Street Child Care

Altoona 8th Street Child Care Altoona 8th Street Child Care We at Altoona 8th Street Child Care serve children from newborn through school age. Come check us out.

We use the latest curriculum through Creative Curriculum in conjunction with the Creative Curriculum Gold Assessment System. This is a wonderful curriculum that allows our teachers to meet each individual child’s needs at their level and encourage them to the next level. It follows them all the way through infancy – Pre-K, so we can follow their development all the way through and spot if there ar

e any delays very early so we can address them as soon as possible. Our staff is very experienced and had a diverse educational background. We have teachers with BA’s in Early Elementary Ed, AS’s in Early Childhood Ed. And several with CDA’s as well as several teacher who are attending college classes to earn degrees in Early Childhood Ed. Their first priority is the safety and well being of the children in their care, but preparing them for school is also a very high priority. We want them to be ready to hit the ground running when they start kindergarten and to be excited about learning. A child who is excited about learning is going to excel in everything they do. We also are proud to boast our top notch security at the center. We have a secured front entry way restricting access to the building to only those who's children attend and the employees. Any one else has to be allowed access by an employee to gain access to the center. We also monitor every classroom with live video camera severance for every one's protection. We would be happy to talk with you about our program.
