🚨 Head Start could look 𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐲 𝐝𝐢𝐟𝐟𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐭 under the proposed changes to its federal standards.

🏛️ Head Start families, programs and advocates are gathering on 𝐂𝐚𝐩𝐢𝐭𝐨𝐥 𝐇𝐢𝐥𝐥 𝐭𝐨𝐝𝐚𝐲 to highlight what’s at stake for children, families and communities.

On September 23 at 10:00 a.m., the Pennsylvania Head Start Association is hosting a special conversation specifically for community partners around the recently released NPRM impacting Head Start.

💬 We will talk through what is happening, why it matters, and how community partners can lend their voices during this important moment.

Blair County Head Start was one of 21 recipients awarded grant funding from Operation Our Town for the 2026-27 year. This year, funding will be used to support fatherhood and male engagement initiatives through a program wide kick-off event this fall. We'd like to thank Operation Our Town for their continued support of Child Advocates of Blair County - CABC and the Blair County Head Start program and for their investment in strengthening young children and families across Blair County!
