Growing up as a baton twirling athlete, Harry Brown's Camp for Champs was a memorable part of each and every summer.

Harry Brown, a former baton twirling athlete, coach, and judge passed away in August of 2012. In his memory, we have reinstated the concept of twirlers from all over the country coming together to enjoy and learn more about the sport of baton twirling. For some attendees, this will be strictly a conditioning camp as they prepare for the National Baton Twirling Championship to be held in July. For

Joining us from Ohio, let’s give a warm welcome to Sarah Lewis! Sarah brings an incredible level of experience and achievement to our staff. She is a 2x Team USA member, has earned over 35 USTA National Titles, was a collegiate finalist at Nationals, and is the 2025 Ohio State Strut Grand Champion. Sarah loves to teach contact, dance twirl, solo, and strut, and campers can look forward to learning from her creativity and passion for helping twirlers grow. We are beyond excited to have Sarah on staff with us this summer!

Up next is Memphis Feature Twirler, Emilee Starr!! Emilee is a standout athlete and performer with accomplishments that speak for themselves. She was a member of the 2023 Nations Cup Team USA and a member of the 2025 World Team! When she’s not on the field or competition floor, Emilee can be found listening to Sports Car by Tate McRae, enjoying sour gummy worms, and the Dream Float Alani! Emilee loves to teach strut and we know campers will love learning from her confidence, precision, and passion for performance. We are so excited to have Emilee on staff and can’t wait to see the impact she makes at TCP this summer!

Next up we have Breanna Dickey! Bre is an incoming student at Indiana University and will be the feature twirler, goooo Hoosiers! She is a 3x Team USA Twirler, 2025 USTA National Junior 3-Baton champion, 2x USTA NER 3-baton champion, and USTA 2-baton and 3-baton Grand National finalist! When she’s not twirling, you can find her listening to Stateside by Zara Larsson and PinkPantheress, snacking on sweet potato chips and grapes, and living by the quote, “Trust the process.” Bre is your girl for multiple baton, and we can’t wait for campers to learn from her talent, determination, and passion for the sport this summer!

Joining us from Missouri, let’s give it up for Courtney Detwiler! Courtney brings passion, positivity, and a leadership mindset to TCP, and we are so excited for her to be joining us this summer. The 2024 USTA Nationals Collegiate Champion, Mizzou Feature Twirler, Team USA Member, and Nations Cup Team Gold medalist and 3-Baton Medalist, Courtney brings a drive and is inspired by helping athletes to success. Courtney loves EVERYTHING! Her enthusiasm and genuine love for helping others makes her an incredible addition to twirl camp. Let’s get ready for this summer!!

Next up from New York, let’s give it up for Natalie Weber! Natalie brings positivity and love for the sport and we are so happy to have her with us this year at TCP. As an Ole Miss Feature Twirler, 8-time National Champion, and multiple years on Team USA, Natalie has proven that dedication and hard work can take you far! Her enthusiasm, spirit, and passion make her a valuable part of Twirl Camp Pinnacle. We are so excited to have Natalie sharing her love for twirling with campers this summer!

Joining us from North Carolina, let’s give it up for Courtney Patterson! Courtney brings experience, creativity, and passion to TCP, and we are so excited to have her teaching with us this summer. As the coach of Forte and Team USA Artistic Group, as well as former NC State Feature Twirler, Courtney has dedicated her career to helping athletes and performers shine both on and off the floor. If you want dance help, Courtney is your girl! We are so thrilled to have Courtney with us sharing her knowledge, creativity, and love with dance and twirling this summer!

And now, it’s time to meet the other half of our incredible twin duo - Kat Welsheimer! Joining us from Tennessee, Kat brings talent, energy, and a passion for performance that makes her standout both on and off the competition floor. Kat loves teaching strut, pairs, collegiate, and dance twirl, helping athletes develop confidence and performance quality. Her enthusiasm, experience, and positive attitude make her such a valuable part of TCP. We are so excited to have Kat sharing her knowledge, encouragement, and love for twirling with campers this summer! Together the Welsheimer twins bring an incredible combination of experience, passion, and fun to camp, and we couldn’t be happier to have them both on staff!!

Let’s introduce one half of our dynamic twin duo - Kirsy Welsheimer! Joining us from Tennessee, Kirsy brings years of experience, passion, and a heart for helping students reach their full potential. Kirsy has made an incredible impact on the twirling community both on and off the competition floor. Kirsy loves teaching freestyle, artistic twirl, pairs, tumbling, mental preparation, and conditioning! Joining us all the way from California, let’s give it up for Sandi Rios! Sandi brings loads of experience, passion, and knowledge to TCP, and we are so excited to have her teaching with us again this summer. Joining us from Maryland, let’s give it up for Maddie Bronk!! Maddie brings elegance, determination, and talent to TCP, and we are so excited to have her teaching with us this summer. The 2025 College Miss Majorette of America, 2024 National Collegiate Champion, duet gold medalist, and 5-time team gold medalist, Maddie is passionate about helping athletes build in both confidence and consistency on the competition floor. She loves teaching low flips and tricks, along with stretching and toning techniques that help twirlers feel strong and prepared! We are so grateful to have Maddie sharing her passion and knowledge with us at Twirl Camp Pinnacle this year!
