What an incredible final day of our Washington, D.C. trip! 🇺🇸
Our students explored the historic grounds of Mount Vernon, stood in awe of the Washington Monument, experienced the powerful exhibits at the National Museum of African American History and Culture, and paid their respects at the Pentagon Memorial. Each stop provided meaningful opportunities to learn, reflect, and gain a deeper appreciation for our nation’s history and the people who have shaped it.
We are so proud of our students for their resilience, positive attitudes, and commitment throughout this unforgettable experience. From early mornings to long days filled with walking, learning, and exploring, they represented our school community with respect, curiosity, and enthusiasm every step of the way.
A heartfelt thank you goes to our incredible chaperones for their dedication, support, and care. Your willingness to give your time and energy made this trip possible and helped create lasting memories for our students.
We are grateful for the experiences shared, the lessons learned, and the memories that will stay with us for years to come. ❤️🤍💙

🇺🇸 Day 2 in Washington, D.C. 🇺🇸
Today was a meaningful day of learning, reflection, and appreciation as our students visited many of our nation’s most treasured memorials and historic sites. As they walked through these powerful landmarks, they gained a deeper understanding of the sacrifices made by the brave men and women who served our country and the vision and leadership of those who helped found our great nation.
We are incredibly proud of the respect, maturity, and gratitude our students demonstrated throughout the day. Their thoughtful engagement and reverence at each memorial reflected the importance of honoring those who came before us and preserving the freedoms we enjoy today.
It was a memorable day filled with history, inspiration, and valuable lessons that will stay with our students long after this trip ends.

Day 1 in Washington, D.C. is in the books! Our students have already logged more than 20,000 steps while exploring some incredible sights and learning so much along the way. They've packed a lot into their first day. We are looking forward to what tomorrow will bring.
