Our Office Secretary, Mrs. Laura wrote this recently as we prepared for the end of the school year. We want to publicly thank all who support CCS. We love each of you and couldn’t do what we do without you.
CCS Families,
Wow it is hard to believe that year two is winding down. We can’t help but reflect on this year as we begin to plan for next year. Thanks be to God for the many ways He has blessed us.
Thank each of you for entrusting us with your precious children. We love each and every one of them. It is a pleasure to watch them grow academically and spiritually, to learn and discover new things. We are excited to watch God’s plan unfold in their life.
Thank you to the multitude of volunteers. Thank you to those who have faithfully showed up every week to assist in the classroom. Thank you to those who have volunteered to drive and to chaperone our fieldtrips, some of which took vacation days to do so.
Thank you to those who volunteered to use their days off to teach Enrichment students new and exciting new skills. The students enjoyed learning how to decorate cookies and cupcakes, prepare a simple meal, make cards, wreaths, and ceramic masterpieces .
Thank you to the one, who single handedly organized our resource room, for helping with Garden Club and anywhere else you were needed.
Thank you to those who gave of your time to facilitate Chess Club, Drama Club. Garden Club and Golf this year.
Thank you to our custodian who took it on himself to keep the refrigerator stocked with Lunchables, just in case someone forgot their lunch and thank you for the candy bars, Little Debbie snacks and grapes you treated us to throughout the year.
Thank you to the group of parents, who love on us every chance they get. Thank you for continuously cheering us on, encouraging and spoiling us with cards, notes, texts, gifts, meals and special treats.
We are so blessed. We are blessed to have teachers who truly love each child. Teachers, it shows in everything you do. Thank you for spending countless hours preparing creative, engaging lessons for your students. Thank you for praying for and with students. Thank you for encouraging them, for reminding them that they can do all things through Christ, for reminding them to cast their cares on Him and not to be anxious about anything. Thank you for celebrating even the smallest of victories with them and encouraging them to do better.
We are blessed to have a selfless Head of School, who leads by example. Thank you Pastor Wade for all of the time you put in, for the many jobs you do, for the countless hats you wear. Thank you for being the man of God that you are, for reflecting His light, and His beauty.
We love and appreciate each one of you. You are such a blessing to us!!!
