Today was a bittersweet day as we celebrated three incredible educators who have dedicated so many years to shaping young minds. This afternoon, they rang the bell one last time and were joyfully sent off by cheering students lining the halls—a moment full of love, appreciation, and a few happy tears. ❤️

We are so grateful for the impact they’ve had on our school, our students, and our community. Their passion, patience, and commitment will leave a lasting legacy that won’t be forgotten.

A special thank you to the PTO for the thoughtful gifts to honor their years of service.

Wishing these amazing teachers all the best in their next chapter—may it be filled with relaxation, joy, and new adventures. You will be deeply missed! 🍎✨

Today marks the end of an era at Altenburg Public School as we celebrate the retirement of three incredible educators who have dedicated their hearts and careers to generations of students.

🍎 Debbie Haertling retires after 32 years of service.
🍎 Julie Hecht retires after 29 years of service.
🍎 Kim Boxdorfer retires after 25 years of service.

Together, these women have given 86 years of commitment, compassion, guidance, and countless memories to our school community. Their impact reaches far beyond the classroom walls and will continue to be felt for years to come through the lives they have touched.

Congratulations on your retirement and best wishes on this exciting new chapter!
