This Memorial Day, Kid City USA pauses to honor and remember the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to our country.

Their courage and sacrifice help protect the freedoms our children grow up with every day. As we gather with family and friends, may we take a moment to reflect, give thanks, and teach the next generation the meaning of service, honor, and remembrance.

From our Kid City USA family to yours, we remember and we are grateful. 🇺🇸

Today we celebrate the leaders who helped shape our country including George Washington & Abraham Lincoln 🇺🇸

At Kid City USA, we love using holidays as a chance to spark curiosity & learning in age-appropriate ways.

Here are a few simple ways families can celebrate together:

🐝 Presidential Fun Facts (Kid-Friendly!)

• George Washington loved animals & had many pets.
• Abraham Lincoln was known for being kind & honest.
• Presidents work hard to help lead & protect our country.

🎨 Easy Activity Idea

Have your child draw a picture of what a “great leader” looks like as you talk about qualities like kindness, honesty & helping others.

Presidents’ Day isn’t just about history, it’s about leadership. Character counts ❤️

We encourage our students to:

• Bee helpers
• Bee respectful
• Bee responsible
• Bee kind

Because even little leaders can make a BIG difference.

From all of us at Kid City USA, Happy Presidents’ Day!

Today we honor Martin Luther King Jr. and his legacy of courage, compassion, and equality.

At Kid City USA, we believe every child deserves to feel seen, valued, and empowered; no matter who they are or where they come from. By teaching kindness, respect, and inclusion early, we’re helping raise the next generation of leaders who will make the world a better place.

Because real change starts with our children.
And it truly takes a city. 🐝
