A little heaven-sent surprise for two very deserving parents. 🩵✨

So much love, laughter, and excitement filled the room as we celebrated Baby Ramnarayan and the beautiful family waiting to meet him.

It truly takes a village, and this was one of those moments that reminded us just how special ours is. 🤍

Starting the day with a little community love… and of course, a Chick-fil-A breakfast. ❤️

A HUGE thank you to Chick-fil-A Altamonte Springs for donating school supplies to support our students and families! We know that back-to-school season can come with a lot of added expenses for families, so being able to provide a little extra support means so much to us. We’re incredibly grateful for community partners who are willing to pour into our families right alongside us. 🫶🏽📚✏️

And since I was already there picking everything up… you know I couldn’t leave without grabbing something to eat. 😂🐔

A new look for a new chapter.

August marks one year since our new Director stepped into Light Years Ahead Academy, and what a year of growth it has been! 💛

Over the past year, we’ve made meaningful changes throughout our school, strengthening our programs, raising our standards, and continuing to create an environment our children, families, and staff can be proud of.

One of our biggest accomplishments? Becoming an APPLE Accredited, Gold Seal Quality Care program! 🍎

As Light Years Ahead Academy continues to grow and evolve, we felt it was time for our brand to grow with us.

The first week of VPK is about building the foundation!

Before we dive deeper into academics, our students are learning the everyday skills that help them become more independent and successful in the classroom, proper handwashing, cleaning up after themselves, throwing away their trash, putting away their blankets after nap, and taking responsibility for their belongings.

Today’s handwashing activity showed them why we wash for at least 20 seconds. 🧼🫧

Even with soap, water, and scrubbing, some of those pretend “germs” were harder to remove!

We’re building good habits now so we’re ready for BIG learning all year long. 🎒✏️💛
