Altamont HS FCA Huddle had the opportunity to attend a Fields of Faith event at Vandalia High School football field. Students from a number of area high schools attended, where they played games, ate pizza, won prizes and heard the gospel. Our speaker was a pastor from Tennessee that encouraged us to delve into the word of God to help us know him and hear him speak to us in an effort to strengthen our faith and help us know we are not alone. He is always with us. Altamont took 19 students and three chaperones. We look forward to attending again next Fall!

Our first graders had a special visit from our local fire department to learn about fire safety in honor of National Fire Prevention Month.

We learned important tips to help keep ourselves and our families safe while having a little fun along the way 💦

BIG thank you to Altamont Fire Department and to all of our brave firefighters for taking the time to visit our school & teach us how to be fire safety superstars ❤️🚒

Monday’s soccer match against Charleston was originally scheduled to be a home game at Altamont, but the location has been changed due to active construction taking place at the Altamont Grade School.
