Mrs. Jenice Mead, a Pitt State alumni, is the new Kindergarten Teacher at Bartlett Grade School.

She has a degree in Elementary Education. When she is not teaching she enjoys riding her bicycle, vegetable and flower gardening, and hanging out with her husband, Chris, and our orange tabby cat, Max.

We are so excited to have Mrs. Mead in the district!

As we begin another school year here in Grizzly Nation, we wanted to remind our community that you can support LCHS students through the Grizzly Care Fund! Your contribution helps us stock the boys' and girls' locker rooms with free hygiene essentials like deodorant, soap, and feminine hygiene products, which are available to all students, no questions asked.

Beyond hygiene items, the Grizzly Care Fund also provides crucial support for students facing unexpected life emergencies, helping with whatever needs may arise.

Band Camp has been the last two weeks for high school marching band students! these students are putting in practice in the classroom and on the field to get performance ready. They will be so fun to watch this upcoming football season and we cannot wait to cheer them on.
