Happy Moving up day to all the 5th graders!!
A special thanks to all the 5th grade families who helped make your child’s AES experience full of wonderful memories!! Thanks for all you did to support your students, school and PTA.
A very special thanks to Liz Martin for being secretary the last couple years - she’s stepping down from that role but still is leading many events next year - so thank you!!
And finally a very, very, very special thanks to Leanne Royer - who has been the PTA vice president for way more years than any of us can count. Leanne is constantly organizing events, remembering things the rest of us forget and supporting the students, staff and community in more ways than any of us can count. Leanne you will be missed - and thank you for all that you do!
PTA is always looking for more helpers 🙂 There are so many different ways to get involved - and all of them are important. If you feel like you don’t have the time - we get it. Most of our active members are full time working parents, juggling 1000 activities - who simply want our students to have a very positive school experience. As families get busier - we have learned the best way to get events done is dividing and conquering. We have lots of active moms and dads who take on events with friends to help keep fun continuing. We are also open to new ideas - so if there is something you think would be great - pass your ideas on to the board and once okayed - grab a friend and start planning 🙂
