About The Rice CISD Bands:
The Rice High School Band, under the direction of Director of Bands Kasey Chitmon, Associate Director Jennifer Chitmon, and Assistant Director Christopher Trabucchi is the premier performing ensemble within the Rice Consolidated Independent School District. The Rice High School Marching Band is one of the largest and most visible student organizations in the Rice CISD. T

he Rice Raider Marching Band performs at all Raider varsity football games, pep rallies, local parades, regional marching contests, and UIL Marching & Concert Band Contests. Members of the Rice High School & Junior High Band programs enjoy a sense of self-worth, ownership, and PRIDE as a result of being an essential part of a student led and student centered organization. The mission of the Rice Band is to provide students with unique & meaningful education and performance experiences while promoting & fostering positive academic, social, and emotional growth & development through participation in band.
