Aveson Center for Independent Study At ACIS, scholars have a chance to shine while learning at their own pace.

ACIS provides a free hybrid homeschool experience for TK-8th grade in Altadena and the surrounding area by blending homeschool support with campus-based elective classes. The primary goal of Aveson Center for Independent Study (ACIS) is provide a hybrid homeschool experience that gives scholars in Kindergarten through 5th grade the benefits of one-on-one instruction at home while attending campus-

based elective classes for social and academic enrichment. Through a structured program of in-depth independent study on topics of deep personal interest at home, coupled with collaborative campus-based projects, scholars build social leadership and 21st century skills.
