Our students are celebrating la Francophonie in the most colorful way! Each day, they’ve dressed in vibrant colors representing French-speaking countries from around the globe while learning about their cultures, traditions, and languages.

From Africa to Europe, the Caribbean to Canada, our classrooms have been filled with curiosity and creativity!

✨🌌 Cosmic Bash 2026 was truly out of this world! 🌌✨

Thanks to the generosity of our families, friends, neighbors, sponsors, and donors, the Altadena Annual Fund team raised an incredible $39,000 for our school! 🚀💫

From the delicious dinner from Tacos Casa, to the music by DJ DadRoq, the raffle, and auction, every moment reminded us how special this community is.

A huge THANK YOU to everyone who attended, donated, volunteered, and helped make the night possible. Your support helps ensure that Altadena’s kids continue to receive the creative, inspiring education they deserve—today and for generations to come.

Last week, our students celebrated Read Across America Spirit Week with days full of stories, imagination, and the joy of reading at Altadena Arts Magnet School.

Classrooms were filled with excitement as students explored new books, listened to guest readers, and shared their love for stories with friends and teachers.

We were honored to welcome a group of 34 students from the Tzu Chi Schools in Taiwan, generously sponsored by our partners at the Tzu Chi Education Foundation, for a special visit to California and Altadena Arts School.

During their time on campus, the visiting students experienced what a day in an American school looks like. They participated in dance class, art class, and theater, and also had fun taking part in sports activities with our students.

This meaningful exchange was a wonderful opportunity for cultural learning, creativity, and connection. We are grateful to the Tzu Chi Education Foundation for making this enriching experience possible and for supporting global education and collaboration. 🌍💙
