This morning, our scholars were welcomed by an amazing group of community members cheering them on as they entered the building for their very first day. The smiles, high-fives, encouragement, and excitement made this milestone even more special!

A huge THANK YOU to everyone who came out to help us welcome our scholars and get them excited for a great day and a great year of learning. Your support reminds our students that their entire community is behind them.

Tomorrow, this playground will come to life as our scholars arrive for the first day of the 2026–2027 school year. We can’t wait to see it filled with laughter, friendships, movement, and memories.

A huge thank you to the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office for partnering with Wyoming Classical Academy–Alpine to provide school safety training for our faculty and staff!

Creating a safe and secure learning environment takes preparation, strong partnerships, and a shared commitment to our scholars. We are incredibly grateful for the time, expertise, and practical guidance provided by our local law enforcement professionals as we prepare to welcome students for our very first school year.

Today marked the official start of the 2026–2027 school year for the WCA–Alpine team!

Our first day of professional development was focused on coming together as a team, strengthening our shared vision, and preparing to welcome our scholars through the doors on Thursday.

As a founding staff, we have an incredible opportunity, not simply to open a new school, but to establish the culture, traditions, and expectations that will define Wyoming Classical Academy–Alpine for years to come.

Months of preparation are becoming reality, and we couldn't be more excited for what lies ahead.

What an incredible evening at Wyoming Classical Academy–Alpine!

Thank you to all of our scholars and families who joined us for Back to School Night! It was wonderful to see our classrooms filled with excitement, meet so many families, and watch our scholars explore the school they will soon call home.

As we prepare to open our doors for our very first school year, we are grateful for the families, faculty, staff, and community members who have helped make WCA–Alpine a reality.

We can't wait to welcome our scholars back on Thursday, August 20 for the first day of school!

Our shelves are filling up, but we still have plenty of room for more great books!

As we prepare to welcome our scholars for WCA–Alpine’s inaugural school year, we are accepting donations of new or gently used books to help continue building our school library.

We would especially love books that inspire wonder, imagination, virtue, curiosity, and a lifelong love of reading. Children’s classics, quality literature, history, science, biographies, poetry, mythology, and age-appropriate nonfiction for Kindergarten through 6th grade are all welcome.

If you have books your family has outgrown that could find a new home on our shelves, we would be grateful to put them into the hands of our scholars.

Donations can be dropped off at WCA–Alpine.

Thank you to our families and community for helping us build our library one book at a time!

Our Reading Lounge at WCA–Alpine is coming to life!

We wanted to create a special place where our scholars can settle in with a great book, let their imaginations wander, and discover just how exciting reading can be. With a little bit of the Wyoming outdoors brought inside, we hope this becomes a favorite spot for many stories and adventures throughout the school year.

We can’t wait to welcome our scholars through the doors and see this space filled with young readers!
