SRSU FFA Alumni & Supporters enhance the collegiate experience through leadership, service and engagement; in doing so, we strive to secure the promise of FFA and agricultural education by creating an environment where people and communities can develop their potential for premier leadership, personal growth and career success. Within and beyond the university setting, our focus is on preparing the next generation of teachers and supporters for School-Based Agricultural Education.

Day 2 of the TX FFAState convention is in full swing. After being in hundreds of selfies yesterday, Fernando the bear gets a reprieve today; Felicity the mountain lion stepped up to the table in Fernando’s place. She had to put on her shades because of all the camera flashes in her eyes, but she is loving all the attention.

Set up and ready for the raging river of blue corduroy at the Texas FFA Convention in downtown Ft. Worth. Ag teachers , chaperones, parents and herders - direct those students to the SR booth so we can talk about opportunities for an incredible and personalized college experience without racking up insurmountable debt!

These little beauties are blooming at the E. E. Turner Range Animal Science Center a few miles east of the Sul Ross State University main campus. Next time you are at TRASC, see if you can find them. (But please don’t cut or pull them; we want them to have the opportunity of producing seeds so we can all enjoy the next generation this time next year.)
