Sul Ross State University Rodeo Team The Sul Ross Rodeo Team is in the heart of Texas Cowboy Country in Alpine, Texas. Come be part of one of the most historic college rodeo programs!

The Sul Ross Rodeo Team has 9 Team National Championships and 27 Individual National Championships. The Sul Ross rodeo program provides participants with the opportunity for personal growth and academic development. Students within the rodeo program come from all walks of life. The rodeo program enhances and develops many values, morals and skills to its participants. Rodeo students major in many

areas of studies, not just agriculture or animal science. Some of those who can handle this challenge have gone on to become leaders in their communities, and many of them credit college rodeo for giving them the extra push needed to succeed in life. The Sul Ross Rodeo legacy was not built by one person, one class, or one generation. It was built by people who were willing to show up, work hard, and invest in something bigger than themselves.
This August 28–31, we are inviting Sul Ross Rodeo alumni, friends, and community members to come work side by side with the next generation of Sul Ross Rodeo athletes during our Welding Party at the Everett E. Turner Range Animal Science Center.
We are cutting, welding, and finishing pipe rail fencing to expand our livestock facilities.
Bring your welding rig if you have one. Bring your skills, your time, or simply a willingness to help. Come for an hour, a day, or the entire weekend.
This is more than a fence project. It is an opportunity to invest in the future of Sul Ross Rodeo and continue building the legacy that generations before us started.

The Sul Ross Rodeo Team is proud to thank Lyssy & Eckel Feeds for their continued support of our program! Great rodeo athletes require great practice stock—and keeping our bulls, bucking horses, calves, steers, and goats healthy, strong, and performing at their best starts with proper nutrition.

Honoring His Spirit. Continuing His Legacy.

The Chase Quine Memorial Scholarship Fund is helping carry Chase’s passion for bull riding forward by giving young bull riders the opportunity to attend Sul Ross State University while pursuing their education and their dreams in the arena.

The Sul Ross Rodeo Team has used this fund to help recruit some of the best bull riders in the world, including Ky Hamilton and Tristen Hutchings. Their success is a powerful reminder of what this scholarship can make possible.

Your donation can help the next young cowboy take that same opportunity—to get an education, compete at the highest level, and continue the legacy Chase loved.

And just like that we are back at it in the Pine. Classes start on August 24th but we are already back to work in the arena. Looking forward to the rest of the team arriving in Alpine!
