Dr. DeMetris Reed and his students are the best pig-sitters! They made sure he didn't get too cold, too hot, but that he was just right.

There is something to be said about the technology of days gone by.

Old telephone lines that are intricate in design. The hours it must have taken to painstakingly place one wire and run it to its connection.

The way we communicate is much different today. Some would say look how far we've come others still wish for the "old" days where the pace was slower and connecting with others was actually a big deal.

We are thankful to have the opportunity to share some of the neat things here at Sul Ross State University.

David Gibson, CIO, visited Mr. Nussbaum's classroom today.

David went into share the insight of being a CIO in higher education, he left having created relationships with the students.

He shared his life story, how he got to Alpine. David gave these students the boost of confidence that you can do anything you set your mind to. Work hard, stay late, be the first to take the leap!
