Not your average Friday. 🐾 Our students met a very special (and very tiny) visitor this week — a baby opossum! What started as an up-close encounter turned into a full-on lesson in why these little guys are actually environmental heroes. Did you know opossums eat thousands of ticks a season? Or that they’re naturally resistant to most diseases? Our students do now — and they were fascinated. Opossums are Awesome! 💛

Summer is coming, and our gardens are ready. 🌿 The Contreras family returned to campus to refresh, replant, and renew our gardens for the season ahead — and as always, they left things more beautiful than they found them. Their commitment to this space — and to our students — never goes unnoticed. This is what community looks like, and we are endlessly grateful for their continued dedication to Lionheart.
