Yesterday, we jumped into our 5 Senses Unit! 👀🐞🦋

Our little learners explored the sense of sight through our sensory table. Using magnifying glasses, we took a closer look at bugs and insects while observing their colors, shapes, sizes, and tiny details. 🔎

We talked about what we could see and practiced using our observation skills along the way.

Mud pies, big imaginations, and a whole lot of messy fun! 🤎🌿

Our little learners took over the outdoor mud kitchen, mixing, pouring, scooping, creating, and pretending their way through play. What looks like “just getting messy” is actually building fine motor skills, problem-solving, creativity, language, and social skills.

UNO with a preschool twist! 🔴🟡🟢

Learning through play is a big part of our preschool program at Joyful Praise Academy! Today, we turned UNO cards into a hands-on math activity as our preschoolers practiced number recognition, counting, color recognition, matching, and critical-thinking skills.

Our after-schoolers get a chance to unwind after a full school day with recreational activities and interest areas that let them choose, explore, create, and just enjoy being kids!

From games and creative activities to spending time with friends, there’s always something fun happening in Ms. Holder’s group! 💛

Our Toddler 1s and Toddler 2s are well on their way to mastering primary color sorting! 🎨❤️💛💙

We’ve been practicing recognizing, matching, and sorting our primary colors—and all that practice is paying off! We love watching their confidence grow as they master new skills.

One of the advantages of a smaller center is the opportunity for more individualized, one-on-one attention. We can meet each child where they are and give them the practice and support they need to succeed.
