This week we honor our amazing teachers and staff as we celebrate our Camp Spirit Week for teacher appreciation! Thanks to the generous donations from our families through designated giving & PTA budget we are able to provide something for the teachers every day!

Teachers are entered each day for raffle prizes... Congrats to Mr. Davis and Ms. Dew who won day 1 & 2 of our raffle prizes!

A special thank you to our teacher appreciation chairs, Nicole Elstad and Torrey Linder, for planning this amazing week! Thanks to Sarah Levin for getting our earlier prizes!

With heartfelt gratitude, we would like to recognize our incredible Teacher Appreciation team— Torrey Linder and Nicole Elstad—whose dedication and thoughtful planning made this year truly special. Under the guidance of our VP, Jennifer Filpi, they worked tirelessly throughout the year, bringing together PTA resources along with generous parent and community donations to create a meaningful and memorable Teacher Appreciation Week.

Their attention to detail, creativity, and commitment to celebrating our teachers did not go unnoticed. We are deeply grateful for the time, energy, and care they poured into honoring the educators who make such a difference in our children’s lives.

Thank you, Torrey, Nicole, and Jennifer, for your leadership and for making our school community stronger.

Please remember that our General Membership meeting is 4/28 at 5:20PM in the Haynes Bridge gym just before the band concert. Please share your name before entering the school if you are a PTA member, as a 25 member quorum is needed, and we’ll be voting in our new board for the next school year.

Our HBMS students and staff are excited for the 2026 Games Days and we look forward to welcoming our community volunteers to join in on the fun! Coach Thrasher and the support staff have planned two exciting days filled with games, friendly competition, smiles/ laughter, and community memories made (with a back-up plan in case it rains)! Our HBMS PTA and community may support the Red Team and Blue Team with the following volunteer roles (4-6 volunteers per station) - sign up HERE:
