🎉 Bingo Night was SO much fun! 🎉

We loved seeing so many of our Alpharetta Christian Academy families come together for an evening filled with bingo, prizes, laughter, and lots of fun.

A very special thank you to Ms. Kim for serving as our amazing Bingo hostess! As she begins a new chapter, we want her to know how much she will be missed at ACA. We are so grateful for all she has brought to our school community and wish her all the best in what’s ahead!

We loved welcoming our preschool families to Meet & Greet over the past couple of days! It was so much fun seeing our classrooms filled with smiling faces, meeting new friends, and getting excited for the year ahead.

Now we’re ready for the first days of preschool! 🎒✨

✨ Created for His Glory | Our First Chapel ✨

Yesterday was a special day at Alpharetta Christian Academy as we gathered for our first chapel of the school year and officially launched our 2026–2027 theme, Created for His Glory!

Over the next seven weeks, our students will journey through the seven days of Creation, focusing on one day each week.

💡 Week One: God Created Light!

Ms. Kori led our children in worship, scripture, and a fun activity as they learned about God’s amazing creation and how everything was created for His glory.

🎂 We also had the chance to sing a very special Happy Birthday to Dr. Teston and Mrs. Stanland! We loved celebrating them together as an ACA family!

🐾 And we were excited to have two of our Watch D.O.G.S. on campus, Mr. Myers and Mr. Noles! They shared high fives with students, joined us for chapel, and read to their children's classes. We’re so thankful for their involvement in our ACA community!

Welcome to Alpharetta Christian Academy, Officer Joshua Watkins! 🎉

We’re excited to welcome Joshua Watkins to the Alpharetta Christian Academy family!

With 24 years of law enforcement experience, a master’s degree in Criminal Justice, military service, and extensive experience in safety, security, training, and emergency preparedness, Joshua brings a wealth of expertise to our school community.

When he’s not working, Joshua enjoys spending time with his family, hiking, and traveling.

And today, we’re celebrating YOU, Joshua! 🎂🎉 Happy Birthday! We’re so grateful to have you on the ACA team and thankful for the experience, passion, and heart you bring to keeping our school community safe.

🎉 Welcome to Alpharetta Christian Academy Kayla Van Laar! 🎉

We’re excited to welcome Kayla Van Laar to Alpharetta Christian Academy as our new 5th Grade Teacher!

Kayla holds a bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from Truett McConnell University. She has classroom experience with kindergarten, 2nd grade, and 5th grade. She also brings 300+ hours of tutoring experience with students in PreK–8th grade.

Kayla enjoys reading, cooking, and spending time with friends and family. She recently married her husband, Aiden. We’re so excited to have Kayla joining the ACA family and can’t wait to see the impact she’ll make on our students!

Welcome Back, Elementary!

We were so excited to welcome our elementary students back to campus today! Our halls were filled with laughter, smiles, and the joyful energy of a new school year. What a wonderful first day!

We also loved seeing so many parents at our Welcome Breakfast this morning. A special thank-you to our amazing PTO for hosting and helping us start the year together as a community! ☕

We’re Ready for a Wonderful Year!

We loved seeing all of our elementary families back on campus today for our Meet & Greet! There were so many smiles, hugs, and excited faces as we kicked off a new school year. We can’t wait to see everyone back tomorrow!

📚 Reminder: Tomorrow is the First Day of School!

🚗 Carpool begins at 8:10 a.m.

🌟 Kindergarten Families: Parents are welcome to walk their kindergarten students to their classrooms on the first day.

☕ All Elementary Parents, join us for a Welcome Breakfast!
Head over to the Commons after drop-off for fellowship and breakfast hosted by our PTO. Our Head of School, Dr. Kathy Teston, will officially kick off the school year with a few words and a prayer at 8:45 a.m.

Our doors are still open, and there’s always room for more families in our wonderful community!

We’re so excited for all that God has in store for our students, families, and faculty this year. Here’s to a wonderful first day and an incredible year ahead! ✨📚
