The Miss Alpena Pageant is Saturday, May 6, 2023! Entry forms can be picked up in either the elementary or high school offices. To be included in the program, forms and fees are due by April 28, 2023.

There will be an off campus evacuation drill on April 13th during school hours. The purpose of this drill is to help prepare ourselves in case of a real emergency where everyone would have to evacuate to another location in an emergency situation. During the drill students will be guided by their teachers and staff to an evacuation area that is familiar to the community. Students will board a school bus and be transported to the Alpena School District off-campus evacuation location which is the Alpena First Baptist Church, located at 1211 Highway 62 East in Alpena. Our staff will ensure that students are kept safe and sound through this drill. If you have any questions or concerns regarding this drill, please feel free to contact the SRO Erik DelReal or Alpena administration.

Should any parent not want their child to participate in the evacuation drill they are required to contact SRO Erik DelReal or the office so we can make sure and have someone watch their child while we do the drill. The deadline for this is 04/12/2023.

Spring Picture Day has been rescheduled for Wednesday, April 12. This includes Spring casual for Pre K through 6th grade and Spring sports.

Sports being photographed include: Baseball, Track, Archery, and P*e Wee Basketball.
