Recently ALL members and guests were treated to a presentation by the person responsible for creating several of these magnificent sculptures. Ann Gildner showed us the process for creating these sculptures with particular focus on “The eagle has landed” sculpture recently added to the Alpena courthouse lawn.

Master Sergeant, US Army (Retired) and ALL member Wendy Payne captivated us with her story about transitioning from the Women's Army Corps (WAC) to the real US Army. Thank you Wendy for your service and being an inspiration to women - young and old!

The Association of Lifelong Learners' Moveable Feast participants gathered at Up North 23 Restaurant on the shores of beautiful Lake Huron in Rogers City on Wednesday, July 22, for some great food and lively conversation. There may have even been a HUGE slice of chocolate cake consumed by a couple of ladies (they may or may not have taken some home for later - only attendees know!)

Join our lively group on August 6 at Alcona Brew Haus for my fun and great food.
