Alpena Community College Athletics

ACC baseball players received postseason accolades led by Marcus Castellon who was named All-Region, All-MCCAA, All-Northern Conference First Team. Marcus will be continuing his career at Tennessee Southern University. A.J. Wheelock, Nate Gould, Ivan Kosmerick and Miguel Salcedo all received MCCAA All-Conference honorable mention. Wheelock will be playing at Viterbo University this fall, while Gould, Kosmerick and Salcedo were all freshmen at ACC and will return for 2027.

There couldn't be a more fitting group of Lumberjacks of the Week for our final selection of the 2025-26 school year. Charlie Best, Max McCarty and Isaac Zocco won the NECC Division 8 National Championship for ACC's esports team in Rocket League in their first year of existence. ACC defeated Fanshawe College four games to three in the championship. All-Region and All-Conference recognition for our softball players! Congrats!!! Alaina Neubecker was named All-Region XII, All-MCCAA, First Team All-Northern Conference; Kirsten Neubecker was All-MCCAA, First Team All-Northern Conference; Maggie Sandoval was Second Team All-Conference while Jordan Ashley, Autumn Kazyaka, Dakota Rachow and Reagan Sides were All-Conference Honorable Mention.
