Alma Public Schools, located in Harlan County of Nebraska covers 180.5 square miles. Alma Public Schools' enrollment has approximate enrollment: 285 students, 2 administrators, 30 teachers, and 17 staff. It is a Class III, Type K-12 district accredited by the State of Nebraska under the direction of 6 board members. Vocational courses offered in the high school include business, vocational agricul

ture, and family and consumer science. Adult education programs are available in the high school in cooperation with the Central Community College, Hastings campus. The high school curriculum offers a solid college prep selection of classes which are taught by a very experienced staff. A variety of extra curricular programs are provided for students as well as strong drama, band and vocal programs. Alma Public School is a One-to-One school and all students are issued school owned Apple laptop computers fro grades K-12. The students grades 7-12 are allowed 24/7 access to those machines.

We’re excited to kick off another great year of learning and growth as we welcome back our returning students and greet new faces joining our Cardinal family!

It was another fun day at Summer Academy! 🇺🇸

Today they learned about the 13 Colonies and how working together helped them win the Revolutionary War. They talked about the importance of teamwork, communication, and never giving up.

To put those skills into action, they completed several teamwork challenges throughout the day. It was so much fun watching the students encourage one another, solve problems together, and show what great teammates they can be. Learning + teamwork = a great day at Summer Academy! ❤️🤍💙

Our cheerleaders had a fantastic week at camp! The girls stepped outside their comfort zones, learned new material, pushed themselves every day, and held their own while competing against squads with 15–20 athletes!

They brought home some hardware and earned:
🏆 1st Place Spirit Routine
🥈 2nd Place Camp Routine
⭐ All-American Cheerleaders: Milah Boseck, Abby Dubbs, and Kaylynn Schmidt
🏆 Superior Trophy for their enthusiasm and teamwork on day 3
🏆 Superior Trophy for successfully completing their squad credentialing

It’s time to get ready for the upcoming sports season!

💲 Sports physicals will be offered for $35 per athlete
💵 Cash or check ONLY (exact amount required)

🕘 Time: 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM

📌 Please note:

No vaccines will be given at the school
If immunizations are needed, they must be completed at the clinic
All forms must be completed and signed by a parent AND athlete before arrival - Pick the forms up at the school office or the front desk of the clinic!
👓 IMPORTANT: If you wear glasses, please bring them with you for vision screening
